Rental Terms

1. The agreement
The rental contract is between Easy Rider Zante (the "Lessor") and the driver named on the booking (the "Renter"). By confirming the booking the Renter accepts these Terms.
2. Driver requirements
- Minimum age 21 (vehicle category may require higher age).
- Valid driving license held for at least 1 year and valid for the entire rental period.
- For two-wheel vehicles, a license valid for the engine class is required by Greek law. Helmets are mandatory.
- A valid ID/passport must be presented at pickup.
3. Reservations, payment & deposit
- Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
- A refundable security deposit is pre-authorised or paid at pickup and refunded after the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.
- Traffic fines, tolls and parking tickets incurred during the rental are charged to the Renter.
4. Cancellation
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup.
- Within 48 hours: the first day is charged.
- No-show: full rental is charged.
5. Insurance
- Basic third-party insurance is included as required by Greek law.
- Optional CDW reduces the Renter's liability to the agreed excess. CDW does not cover: tires, windscreen, underbody, interior damage, lost keys, fuel mis-fuelling, off-road use, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or use by an undeclared driver.
- Theft is covered only if the vehicle keys and documents are returned to the Lessor.
6. Fuel & mileage
- The vehicle is delivered with a set fuel level and must be returned at the same level. Missing fuel is charged at the local pump price plus a refuelling fee.
- Mileage is unlimited unless stated otherwise on the booking.
7. Use of the vehicle
The vehicle may not be used: outside Greece without written consent; for racing, towing or commercial transport; on unpaved roads (unless an off-road vehicle is rented); by anyone other than the registered driver(s).
8. Accidents & breakdowns
In case of accident, theft or breakdown the Renter must (a) call the police and obtain a report, (b) notify Easy Rider Zante immediately on +30 26950 52025, and (c) not admit liability. Failure to follow this procedure may void insurance cover.
9. Return
The vehicle must be returned at the agreed location, date and time. Late return is charged per started hour up to a full extra day. Returns outside opening hours are at the Renter's risk until inspected.
10. Liability & data
The Renter remains liable for damage caused by negligence, breach of these Terms, or use excluded from insurance. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
This contract is governed by Greek law. The courts of Zakynthos have exclusive jurisdiction.See also our Privacy Policy.
